Recreational Youth Basketball Program
The City of Tallahassee Parks and Recreation Youth Basketball Program is for children 4-17 years old. The program includes Lil Hoopsters for ages 4-7 and Youth Basketball for ages 8-17.
The Girls League is a citywide program that practices and plays most games at Sue McCollum Community Center. The Co-Ed League registers at multiple locations throughout the city. Teams generally practice at their registration location or the nearest available gymnasium, while games are played citywide.
Volunteer coaches are needed for the program. The City works with volunteer coaches to help coach all teams. The registration fee for the head coach's child on the team will be waived. If interested in coaching, please contact the Program Supervisor below or select the coaching interest option when registering your child.
